Igby is a rebellious 17 year-old at war with the stifling world of privilege he was born in to. With a schizophrenic father, a self-absorbed mother, and a shark-like young republican big brother, Igby figures there must be a better life out there–and sets about finding it. He winds up in New York with his godfather, his godfather’s trophy girlfriend, and the terminally bored Sookie Sapperstein.

I gave the DVD release 4 1/2 out of 5 stars based on its bonus features and the strength of the film itself.
