"Love Don't Cost a Thing" (2003)

Modern-day update of "Can't Buy Me Love." Alvin is a brilliant outcast who has come to regret the years of intellectual endeavors that prevented him from socializing. When popular girl Paris wrecks her mom's car, Alvin steps in and mortgages his future to help out. The catch: in exchange for $1500 in car parts, Paris agrees to fake a front with him to convince the school that they’re dating.
