"House of Wax" Doesnt Skimp on the Gore: I think thats really important. I think theres a lot of elements that go into making a really awesome horror film and thats like putting together like a real good group of people that you love to watch them either live or die. And then also a lot of gore and guts and nasty moments and this film really delivers that because I watched it when I made the movie and I was like, Oh my God, no! The violence definitely goes there. Its a fun movie.
Any Particularly Tough Moments on the House of Wax Set? There were a lot of bad how am I going to get through this day moments and then also being covered from head to toe in wax was intense.
What Sets House of Wax Apart from Other Recent Horror Movie Remakes: Its new, its fresh. I think we stepped it up a notch as far as gore goes. I think that anyone after us is going to have to really make it happen as far as blood and guts. But its also really fun. If youre not into horror films, I think its still good to go to this one because its a young cast and its fun to watch.
This movie is so frightening. We raised the bar on gore. And you also get to see Paris [Hilton] die. Shes awesome in the movie.
Hardest Scene to Make It Through in House of Wax: The bat sequence at the end of the film. I woke up with every muscle pulled just going at it. It was my sort of release. It was kind of awesome and brilliant.
