"Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay" (2008)
This time, the boys get themselves in trouble trying to sneak a bong onboard a flight to Amsterdam. Now, being suspected of terrorism, they are forced to run from the law and try to find a way to prove their innocence. What follows is an irreverent and epic journey of deep thoughts, deeper inhaling and a wild trip around the world that is as 'un-PC' as it gets.
John Cho Discusses "Harold and Kumar 2"
Having done one film together already, it was much easier for John Cho and Kal Penn to get into their Harold and Kumar characters. "…We’re actually friends and, with the first one, we were concerned, ‘Boy, we don’t know each other and we’re supposed to be best friends.’ We tried to cram in some good get-to-know-you time with the first one when we got up to Toronto, where we shot, for rehearsal."
