Five Sign on to Star in a Spoof of Romantic Comedies

June 22, 2005 - Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer (the pair who wrote "Scary Movie") will write and direct an untitled romantic comedy spoof for Regency Enterprises.

Former "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" co-star Alyson Hannigan joins Adam Campbell, Eddie Griffin, Fred Willard and Jennifer Coolidge in the spoof pic.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hannigan and Campbell play the romantic leads with Griffin co-starring as Hannigan's dad. Willard and Coolidge will play Campbell's parents.

Shooting is expected to begin this month.
