John Malkovich is The Great Buck Howard

John Malkovich is joining Tom Hanks and his actor son Colin for the comedy movie, The Great Buck Howard, written and directed by Sean McGinly.

Malkovich will play the Great Buck Howard, a struggling magician trying to save his career. The younger Hanks is set to play the magician's assistant. Oscar winner Tom Hanks will play the magician assistant's father (no stretching involved in that bit of casting).

Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman are producing the film which is set to begin filming in Los Angeles in July.
