Jennifer Garner is planning on producing and starring in the erotic thriller, "Sabbatical," for Touchstone Pictures. The "Alias" star and her production company Vandalia Films along wiht Sean Bailey and Chuck Weinstock sold the pitch to Touchstone, which plans to shoot the film in 2006.According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Sabbatical" follows a married couple who've entered a dull phase in their relationship. To spice up things, they agree to take a two week sabbatical - with a strict set of rules. After the two weeks is over, the wife shows up to reunite with her husband but he's nowhere to be found.
No director or screenwriter have been hired on to the project, which is based on producer Chuck Weinstein's idea.
Garner is currently starring in "Alias" on TV and is also filming "Catch and Release" for writer/director Susannah Grant. She's also getting ready to have her first child with actor/hubby Ben Affleck.
