According to Variety, Jennifer Garner will star in and produce "Be With You" for Warner Bros. Pictures. Garner's brand new production company Vandalia Films will take on the project along with producers Dan Jinks and Bruce Cohen ("Big Fish," "The Forgotten").Nobuhiro Doi directed a Japanese version of the film, which was based on a novel by Takuji Ichikawa. The Japanese film followed a wife and mother who while on her deathbed tells her family that she'll come back to them. No director has been named for this American version of the supernatural romance.
Jennifer Garner recently completed work on the romantic comedy, "Catch and Release," directed by Susannah Grant.
