The Story
Sir Hopkins stars as Ted Crawford, a structural engineer who decides the only way to stop his wife from cheating is to kill her. And like everything else he does in life, Ted has meticulously planned how the shooting will occur and how he'll be able to get away with the crime.
District Attorney Willy Beachum (Gosling) has a real short-timer's attitude - he's about to leave the low-paying job for a more glamorous and profitable position - when he's handed the attempted murder case. Assured it's a slamdunk case, Willy agrees to it only to discover too late that he's pitted against a cunning opponent everyone greatly underestimated.
The Bonus Features
Unfortunately, the Fracture DVD doesn't include much in the way of extra features. You won't find a commentary track or any Making Of featurettes on this relatively barebones DVD, only a few alternate/deleted scenes and two alternate endings. However because Fracture is one of the most entertaining films of 2007, the sparse amount of bonus features included on the DVD can almost be overlooked.
