May 10, 2007 - Harrison Ford, Ashley Judd and Sean Penn have signed on to star in the Weinstein Company's dramatic movie, Crossing Over, which is currently in production in Los Angeles. The cast also includes Ray Liotta, Cliff Curtis, Alice Eve, Alice Braga, Jim Sturgess and Summer Bishil.
Crossing Over was written by Wayne Kramer whose credits include Running Scared and The Cooler. Kramer will be wearing multiple hats on the project as the director and producer.

Crossing Over is a multi-character drama about immigrants of different nationalities struggling to achieve legal status in Los Angeles. The film addresses the issue from the point of view of the immigrants, as well as the immigration authorities tasked with enforcing the nation’s immigration laws.
