Looking absolutely gorgeous, Izabella Scorupco answered a few questions about her role in this prequel to "The Exorcist" while in attendance at the World Premiere of "Exorcist: The Beginning."
INTERVIEW WITH IZABELLA SCORUPCO ('Sarah'):
Does Exorcist: The Beginning capture the feel of the original Exorcist?
I have no idea because I havent seen the movie myself. I just hope that we will come anywhere close to what the first one did.
Did you have to do any wire work or other training for your role?
Maybe, maybe...
Maybe? Did you train a lot for this? Was there anything special you had to do to prepare?
Still maybe because I feel that this movie is a horror movie and I dont really want to give away things that are going on. I think that whatever I would say would probably tell you a lot about our characters.
How would you describe Sarah?
I play a doctor volunteering and working in a little village in Africa that is going through and experiencing a lot of strange things happening.
Can you remember watching The Exorcist for the very first time?
Like it was yesterday. It was the most horrific, scary movie Ive ever seen. I still and will always think that that was the scariest horror flick ever. It was made in a way that it was dramatically just absolutely perfection and it was more than anything about relationships between people and having to deal with situations and what theyre going through in between, and how you risk other peoples lives. And thats why it was so interesting. It wasnt about special effects, which everything else is now these days.
