The gang returns for another heist in "Ocean's 12," Gael Garcia Bernal dresses in drag for "Bad Education," Kevin Bacon gives the best performance of his career in "The Woodsman," Don Cheadle stars in "Hotel Rwanda" based on a true story, and Aaron Eckhart teams with Carrie-Anne Moss to track down "Suspect Zero."
Gael Garcia Bernal and writer/director Pedro Almodovar team up to bring this disturbing tale of two boys who were abused as kids and who reunite in later years when one has become a film director and the other has a story he wants told. Bonus features include commentary by Almodovar, deleted scenes, and cast interviews.
Don Cheadle gives an Oscar-worthy performance as real life hero Paul Rusesabagina, a hotel manager who saved the lives of over a thousand people during the genocide in Rwanda. Bonus features include a Making Of featurette, a documentary of Paul Rusesabagina's return trip to Rwanda, and selected scene commentary by Don Cheadle.
Real life married couple Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick are equally terrific in this disturbing, riveting look at the life of a sex offender after he's released from prison. This unflinching story doesn't glamorize the subject matter, nor does it tack on a Hollywood ending. Bonus features include a Getting It Made featurette and deleted/extended scenes.
A case could be made that the only reason "Ocean's 12" exists is because the good-looking cast had so much fun on "Ocean's 11," they decided to make a sequel just so they could spend more time together off the set hanging out. Rent/buy "Ocean's 12" only if you're really into the movie - there aren't any bonus features to speak of.
A serial killer movie with an interesting premise, "Suspect Zero" suffers from the lack of a cohesive plot and cardboard cut-out characters. Bonus features include an alternate ending, multiple featurettes, and commentary by the director.
