Guide Review - "The War Within" DVD Review
Traveling to New York City, he joins with a sleeper cell already in place. Fortunately for all the innocent people who would have perished, Hassan's terrorist group is caught right before they were about to begin their deadly mission.
Hassan manages to avoid being captured but now he has nowhere to go. His plans didn't include living past the designated time of the attack. With nowhere else to turn, he visits his old friend Sayeed (Firdous Bamji) who's happy with America and what it has to offer his family. Hassan's involvement with Sayeed and his family challenges the way he views what he feels is his destiny - to kill Americans.
DVD Bonus Features
"The War Within" isn't a DVD to buy for the bonus features as just the basics are included on the disc. There's a decent collection of deleted and alternate scenes but the main bonus feature is the commentary track by the director and actor Ayad Akhtar. Their commentary is nearly as interesting as the film itself and shouldn't be skipped.
