Synopsis: Peter Highman (Robert Downey Jr) is an expectant first-time father whose wife's due date is a mere five days away. As Peter hurries to catch a flight home from Atlanta to be at her side for the birth, his best intentions go completely awry when a chance encounter with aspiring actor Ethan Tremblay (Zach Galifianakis) forces Peter to hitch a ride with Ethan--on what turns out to be a cross-country road trip that will ultimately destroy several cars, numerous friendships and Peter's last nerve.

Writer/director Todd Phillips follows up the successful "The Hangover" with "Due Date," another R-rated comedy featuring men who behave badly. Phillips brings back "Hangover's" Zach Galifianakis, pairs him up with the most unlikely co-star, Robert Downey Jr, and sets them on a cross-country road trip. Think "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" but with a 15 pound French bulldog as a central character and masturbation as a punch line.

"Iron Man 2"/"Sherlock Holmes" star Robert Downey Jr. and "The Hangover's" Zach Galifianakis lead the cast which also includes Michelle Monaghan ("Eagle Eye") and Jamie Foxx ("The Soloist" with Downey).
