Guide Review - "The Flight That Fought Back" Review
It'd be fair to say the majority of Americans are aware of the fact the passengers and crew aboard Flight 93 gave their lives while trying to take back their plane from terrorists on a suicide mission. However it'd also be safe to say most Americans know practically nothing about the 40 brave souls (33 passengers and 7 crew members) who perished when Flight 93 crashed in Shanksville, PA.
Through the cooperation of friends and family members of the deceased passengers and crew, "The Flight That Fought Back" allows us to discover who these people were, why they got on to that particular flight, and how - even though they were strangers - they were able to bond together and come up with a plan to overtake their hijackers.
"The Flight That Fought Back" incorporates actual voice recordings as well as testimony from family members as to what was going through the minds of many of the people aboard Flight 93 shortly before it plummeted into the earth. This heart-wrenching account remains true to its subjects, doesn't politicize the issue, and through reenactments provides the most comprehensive look at Flight 93 to date.
