Guide Review - "Dodgeball" DVD Review
So how do you settle a fight between the two gyms? You bring the battle to the dodgeball court. Vaughn's wimpy geeks take on Stiller's muscle-bound goons in a winner-takes-all dodgeball showdown.
Vaughn and Stiller play well off each other, and Stiller's doing what he does best by taking on and owning the role of a goofball, over-the-top fitness freak. And the co-stars - including Alan Tudyk as a guy who thinks he's a pirate, Christine Taylor as the woman Vaughn and Stiller drool over, and Justin Long who serves as the butt of most of the physical comedy stunts - are all terrific.
As far as the bonus features, "Dodgeball's" DVD is loaded with goodies worth checking out. My personal favorite is 'Justin Long - A Study in Ham & Cheese' where Long gets beaned with balls mercilessly. The kid's got a great sense of comic timing and the featurette really lets him show off his stuff.
