Academy Award winner Martin Scorsese is reuniting with his Gangs of New York, The Aviator, and The Departed star Leonardo DiCaprio for the film version of The Wolf of Wall Street, based on the upcoming autobiography of Jordan Belfort.According to Variety, Terence Winter (The Sopranos, Get Rich or Die Tryin') will write the screenplay. Variety also reports that DiCaprio and Scorsese do not have official deals in place to star in and direct the film which is now set up at Warner Bros Pictures.
There's no word yet on when production will begin on the film adaptation of Belfort's life story. DiCaprio's next film will be Revolution Road, which will reunite him with his Titanic co-star Kate Winslet.
