"Definitely, Maybe" (2008)

Will Hayes is a 30-something Manhattan dad in the midst of a divorce when his 10-year-old daughter, Maya, starts to question him about his life before marriage. Will’s story begins in 1992, as a young, starry-eyed aspiring politician who moves to New York from Wisconsin in order to work on the presidential campaign. For Maya, Will relives his past as an idealistic young man learning the ins and outs of big city politics, and recounts the history of his romantic relationships with three very different women. Will hopelessly attempts a gentler version of his story for his daughter and changes the names so Maya has to guess who is the woman her father finally married. Is her mother Will’s college sweetheart, the dependable girl next door Emily? Is she his longtime best friend and confidante, the apolitical April? Or is she the free-spirited but ambitious journalist Summer?
Ryan Reynolds and Isla Fisher Team Up for "Definitely, Maybe"
Off screen, Reynolds and Fisher are the perfect tag team when it comes to answering questions about their film. Complimenting his co-star, Reynolds compared her to, of all things, motor oil. “Isla is the engine called comedy in 'Definitely, Maybe' and that engine is using Castrol Syntec oil which is, as you know, one of the best motor oils ever in the 10 weight category.”
Rachel Weisz Interview - "Definitely, Maybe"
Oscar-winner Rachel Weisz ("The Constant Gardener") plays an ambitious journalist in Universal Pictures’ romantic comedy "Definitely, Maybe," a date movie hitting theaters – appropriately enough – on Valentine’s Day.

Behind the Scenes of "Definitely, Maybe"
Writer/director Adam Brooks doesn’t rush into projects. In fact, it’s been eight years since he last directed a film, although he has kept busy in the interim writing screenplays. The Universal Pictures romantic comedy/whodunit "Definitely, Maybe" marks Brooks’ first foray into commercial, larger budget projects as a director.
