2006 winner George Clooney was adamant that his good buddy Matt Damon should win People's Sexiest Man Alive title, and his campaigning has paid off. Oscar winner and Bourne star Matt Damon has earned the coveted Sexiest Man Alive title for 2007.
Damon's win came as a surprise to the 37-year-old actor, even though he's joked for years about wanting to beat his pal Clooney. "You've given an aging suburban dad the ego-boost of a lifetime," Damon told People when informed of his win.
