According to Variety, "The Contract" is a thriller about a family outing that goes bad when a grandfather, son, and grandson get involved with a hired killer.
Stephen Katz and John Darrouzet wrote the script, with Millennium Films' Avi Lerner producing with Randy Emmett and George Furla.
John Cusack will next be seen in the romantic comedy, "Must Love Dogs." Freeman is currently doing the award show rounds in support of Clint Eastwood's "Million Dollar Baby."
