Guide Review - "Curious George" DVD Review

Will Ferrell, Drew Barrymore, David Cross and Dick Van Dyke lend their voices to the animated family-friendly movie, "Curious George." Director Matthew O'Callaghan and screenwriter Ken Kaufman bring the famous little monkey to life in a tale which shows how the little guy and The Man in the Yellow Hat first became friends.

Will Ferrell provides the voice of Ted (aka The Man in the Yellow Hat), a hard-working museum tour guide who loves his job. But things aren't going great for the museum. Visitors aren't lining up to see the exhibits and Mr Bloomsberry (Van Dyke) is on the verge of closing up shop and letting his son (Cross) put up a parking garage where the museum now stands.

Ted's determined to not let the museum become history and so he ventures off to Africa to find and bring back a lost idol that's sure to attract business. While in Africa, Ted makes friends with a cute little monkey who follows him back to America for all sorts of adventures.
