Chace Crawford Learns "What to Expect"
(July 2011) Lionsgate Films' "What to Expect When You're Expecting" just added two good-looking actors to its cast. Joe Manganiello ("True Blood" werewolf Alcide Herveaux) and Chace Crawford ("Gossip Girl's" Nate Archibald) have signed up for the romantic comedy to be directed by Kirk Jones ("Nanny McPhee").
Chace Crawford and Katie Holmes are "Responsible Adults"
(May 2011) Myriad Pictures announced Katie Holmes ("Batman Begins" and the critically panned "The Kennedys" mini-series) and Chace Crawford ("Gossip Girl") have signed on to star in "Responsible Adults," a comedy-romance (their distinction, most likely made so we won't label it a romantic comedy) to be directed by Jon Poll ("Charlie Bartlett"). First time feature film screenwriter Alex Schemmer wrote the script with Michael Roiff and Julie Yorn producing.
Chace Crawford Feels Some "Peace, Love and Misunderstanding"
(June 2010) "Gossip Girl" star Chace Crawford recently made news when he was charged with possession of pot in Texas, but that run-in with the law hasn't affected his professional career. Variety says Crawford will be joining Catherine Keener and Jane Fonda in the independent film "Peace, Love and Misunderstanding." Bruce Beresford will direct the comedy/drama, which will most likely begin filming later this year.
Chace Crawford Leaves "Footloose"
(Apr 2010) Entertainment Weekly reports "Gossip Girl" star Chace Crawford has left the remake of Footloose. Crawford was attached to take over the role Kevin Bacon played in the 1984 film, but had to back out due to "Gossip Girl" scheduling issues.
