Writer/director Paul Haggis is piling up the awards with his hard-hitting indie drama "Crash." His critically acclaimed film has picked up dozens of awards from critics, the Screen Actors Guild, and other film groups. Set in LA and featuring an amazing ensemble of actors, "Crash" rips into stereotypes without holding back.

Review:

A couple of days after being chosen as a nominee for Outstanding Directorial Achievement by the Directors Guild of America, Haggis attended the 17th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival. While there to honor "Crash" actor Terrence Howard, Haggis took the time to speak with me about the DGA Awards, the "Crash" script, and his talented actors.
