Jason Statham on the Status of The Brazilian Job: “It’s funny, a lot of people keep asking me about that. I’m not sure what’s happening. I’d be very happy to work with Mark [Wahlberg] and Charlize [Theron] and Mos Def and Seth [Green]. You know, we’re a good little group and if that comes along I’ll be smiling.”
Will There Be Another Transporter Movie?: Statham says, “Depends how many people want to see another one. It’s all to do with, you know, what the audience wants to see. If they want to see another one, then we’ll do one. You people are the boss, basically. You control what we do and what we don’t do.”
And Speaking of the Transporter Movies…: Director Louis Leterrier was just announced as the director of the upcoming Incredible Hulk movie. Statham hadn’t heard the news yet and had no idea if Leterrier would ask him to be involved in some way.
“What, Lulu? He’s doing Hulk 2? Good man," said Statham. "I love Lulu. I’ve done two films with him. I can’t answer that. That’s great news, I’m really pleased for him. I’m going to see him. He emailed me the other day.”
Might that email have had something to do with Incredible Hulk? Statham laughed, “He wants me to be Hulk’s hairdresser.”
