Synopsis: (Formerly known as "A Couple of Dicks") Two longtime NYPD partners on the trail of a stolen, rare, mint-condition baseball card find themselves up against a merciless, memorabilia-obsessed gangster. Jimmy (Bruce Willis) is the veteran detective whose missing collectible is his only hope to pay for his daughter's upcoming wedding, and Paul (Tracy Morgan) is his "partner-against-crime" whose preoccupation with his wife's alleged infidelity makes it hard for him to keep his eye on the ball.

"Cop Out" Movie Review
"Cop Out" is pretty funny...for the first 20 minutes. After that, it totally disintegrates into a generic buddy movie that could have had any two actors in the lead and gotten the same results.

(Dec 2009) So, Kevin Smith's no stranger to controversial film titles. His "Zack and Miri Make a Porno" caused a stir, though the title made perfect sense and explained exactly what the film was about. It's not like he threw the word 'porno' in there to help sell the film. If anything, the use of 'porno' in the title kept some outlets from promoting the film. Silly, but true.
