Ron Perlman Interview - Conan the Barbarian Video
On the red carpet on closing night of the 2011 Los Angeles Film Festival, Ron Perlman explained that he actually filmed his part in the action movie Conan the Barbarian before the script was even finished. Why? Because he liked what he read and understood the character, and the pages that were written were that good.
At the LA Film Festival to take in the premiere of Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, co-written and produced by his Hellboy director Guillermo del Toro, Perlman also said he'd love to reunite with del Toro - maybe even for Pacific Rim.
Conan the Barbarian stars Jason Momoa, Rachel Nichols, Stephen Lang, Rose McGowan, and Ron Perlman, and hits theaters on August 19, 2011.
Conan the Barbarian Plot:
The most legendary Barbarian of all time is back this Summer. Having thrived and evolved for eight consecutive decades in the public imagination- in prose and graphics, on the big screen and small, in games and properties of all kinds- Conan’s exploits in the Hyborian Age now come alive like never before in a colossal 3D action-adventure film.
A quest that begins as a personal vendetta for the fierce Cimmerian warrior soon turns into an epic battle against hulking rivals, horrific monsters, and impossible odds, as Conan realizes he is the only hope of saving the great nations of Hyboria from an encroaching reign of supernatural evil.
