We're hopeful that there are more funny films on this list than what Hollywood delivered in 2011.

It wasn't a great year for comedies, but we did manage to find 10 films that made us laugh.

Among the batch of comedy movies hitting theaters in 2011 are a couple of sequels ("The Hangover Part 2," "New Year's Eve," and the fourth "Pirates" film and "Spy Kids" movie) as well as films featuring familiar comedy stars (Ben Stiller, Jim Carrey, Jennifer Aniston, Rowan Atkinson, and Adam Sandler).
