A successful small-town football coach and his wife lead a surprisingly idyllic - if necessarily regimented - life with their family of twelve children. When dad gets an offer he can't refuse to coach a Big Ten football team, the move to the city, his increasing workload, and his wife's book tour, turn the clan upside down.
