Role That Got Him Noticed - Sort Of: Playing Jason Bateman's nerdy son in Arrested Development. Cera and Bateman went on to co-star in Juno however they never shared a scene in that film.
Michael Cera's Acting History: Feb 2008 - Michael Cera got his start in feature films at the age of nine. His first big screen role was as a young Chuck Barris (Sam Rockwell played the adult Barris) in the twisted comedy Confessions of a Dangerous Mind directed by George Clooney.

No stranger to working in television, Cera's small screen credits include the kids show Rolie Polie Olie and Fox's I Was a Sixth Grade Alien. Cera was a regular on the TV series Arrested Development, a critically acclaimed comedy show which, unfortunately, never won over audiences.

Cera's film credits include Frequency and Steal This Movie. 2007 was a pivotal year in Cera's film career as he starred in two box office hits - Superbad and Juno. In Superbad Cera played a high school senior looking to lose his virginity before graduation. Juno found him not only losing his virginity but accidently impregnating his almost-girlfriend, Juno MacGuff (played by Oscar nominee Ellen Page).
