Guide Review - Brokeback Mountain 2-Disc Collector's Edition DVD Review
Jack Twist (Jake Gyllenhaal) and Ennis Del Mar (Heath Ledger) meet while guarding sheep up on Brokeback Mountain. As they endure long, chilly nights and day after day of watching over the flock, Jack and Ennis begin to grow close. On one extremely cold night in camp, the consummate their budding relationship - a relationship Ennis is definitely not looking for (he's engaged) and one Jack can't seem to resist.
Going their separate ways at the end of the season, the bond the two men formed while spending time together on Brokeback Mountain is incredibly strong. Even while they're both going about their lives, getting married, becoming fathers, and tending to business, there's that connection neither can shake. When Jack reaches out to Ennis by mail, the two rekindle the relationship they must keep hidden from their families, friends, and the community.
