Despite what you've heard, "Bridesmaids" isn't a female version of "The Hangover." The only real similarities between the two films are that they're both R-rated. Other than that, "Bridesmaids" and "The Hangover" have nothing in common.

Keeping this as PG as possible, Jon Hamm plays a ladies man who counts Kristen Wiig's character as one of his many sexual partners in the Universal Pictures comedy, "Bridesmaids." Hamm and Wiig's characters kick off the film by having sex, but it's not the typical romantic scene we're used to in films. Instead, it's totally goofy, with both actors pushing it as far as possible to squeeze every laugh out of the 'intimate' moment.

Maya Rudolph was absolutely glowing on the red carpet for "Bridesmaids," the Universal Pictures comedy directed by Paul Feig and written by Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo. Her pregnancy didn't keep from Rudolph from chatting up the comedy at the film's world premiere and, surrounded by her funny costars, she talked about starring in a female-driven R-rated comedy and the freedom to change things up on the set.

The last episode of "The Office" with Steve Carell as Michael Scott was airing as Ellie Kemper ('Erin') was hitting the pink carpet for the world premiere of "Bridesmaids." Kemper costars in the Universal Pictures comedy, a film which sets itself apart from most major studio comedies because it's female-driven and R-rated. Co-written by Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo and directed by Paul Feig, "Bridesmaids" finds Kemper playing a sweet, impressionable young woman forced into dealing with a diverse group of interesting ladies as they help their mutual friend (played by Maya Rudolph) celebrate her wedding. Mia Rose Frampton (daughter of Peter Frampton) has a supporting role as a customer of Kristen Wiig's.
