"Whiteout" was directed by Dominic Sena, no stranger to the action genre having directed "Swordfish" and "Gone in Sixty Seconds," and is based on a graphic novel written by Greg Rucka and illustrated by Steve Lieber. Rucka joined Beckinsale, Gabriel Macht, and producer Joel Silver in LA for a press conference to promote the September 11, 2009 release of the Warner Bros Pictures film.
