After three hours of arguing, the San Diego Film Critics Society split their love between No Country for Old Men and There Will Be Blood, giving each film four awards apiece. Although I'm a member of the group, these awards don't necessarily reflect my taste. Most notably, There Will Blood won for best score when the film's overpowering, bombastic score is the reason why There Will Be Blood didn't even make my personal top 10 list of the films released in 2007.
