George Clooney in "Good Night, and Good Luck"

Out of 300+ movies screened during 2005, the National Board of Review selected George Clooney's "Good Night, and Good Luck" as the best movie of the year. However Clooney didn't pick up directing honors. Ang Lee snagged the best director award for his work on "Brokeback Mountain."
