A Round-Up of Movie Awards for 2008

Critics groups and other organizations that annually honor actors and movies don't always agree on what deserves an award, but it looks as though three movies are emerging as favorites out of all of 2008's worthy films. Slumdog Millionaire, Milk, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button have been getting a lot of love from critics and film organizations, though they're certainly not the only movies piling up nominations and awards.

It's tough to keep track of who's picking up what award, but this round-up of 2008 awards should help you figure out who's winning and which films are getting snubbed. Case in point: Box office favorite The Dark Knight doesn't seem to be picking up that many nominations/awards.
