LA Premiere of "ATL" was One Big Lovefest

Most of the large cast of the music-driven drama, "ATL," showed up in Hollywood for the film's Los Angeles premiere. As a veteran of too many red carpets to count, I can honestly say the young up-and-coming stars from "ATL" proved to be one of the most enthusiastic bunch of actors ever to work a red carpet.

Based loosely on the lives of Dallas Austin and Tionne Watkins, "ATL" is the story of a group of friends growing up in Atlanta, hanging out at the local skating rink, and preparing for the challenges of life after high school.

Showing nothing but love for their director Chris Robinson, producers Will Smith and Dallas Austin, and each other, the "ATL" cast - including rapper Tip T.I. Harris, Lauren London, Evan Ross, Jackie Long, Albert Daniels, Jason Weaver, Big Boi, and Mykelti Williamson - seemed to not want the evening to end. Bonding prior to the shoot and during filming made this cast into a close-knit bunch who claim "ATL" will stand as one of their best filmmaking experiences. What else did they have to say?
