Guide Review - "Assault on Precinct 13" DVD Review
Outdated, run-down and on the verge of falling apart, Precinct 13 is about to close its doors forever. On the last night of its existence, a busload of high-security prisoners is unexpectedly diverted to the precinct house. Shortly after the prisoners arrive, a heavily armed gang attempts to break into the police station. Things soon escalate completely out of control and everyone inside Precinct 13 - cops, criminals, and civilians - have to band together to stay alive.
THE BONUS FEATURES
If you're a fan of Making Of featurettes, you should be more than satisfied with the extras included on the "Assault on Precinct 13" DVD. From how the sets were designed to the process of selecting the weapons used in the film, the "Assault on Precinct 13" DVD has a great collection of behind-the-scenes material. My only complaint about the DVD is that it lacks a commentary track. It would have been interesting to hear Ethan Hawke and Laurence Fishburne discuss how they prepared for their roles and how they got into their characters.
