Guide Review - "Aquamarine" DVD Review

Emma Roberts and JoJo star as Claire and Hailey, best friends spending their last days of summer together before Hailey has to move away. Despondent over the pending separation, the two find what may be the solution to their problem swimming around in a beach resort's pool.

A beautiful mermaid named Aquamarine (Sara Paxton) pops out of the water, eager to find love and ready to experience the joys of walking around on two feet rather than swimming around with a fish's tail. It seems Aquamarine's in a bit of a bind and if Hailey and Claire will help her out, she'll grant them one wish. If the two girls will help Aquamarine find someone who'll fall in love with her, then Claire and Hailey can use their wish to stop Hailey from having to move away.

Important lessons are learned involving friendship, loyalty, and family in this irresistible fantasy based on the novel by Alice Hoffman and directed by Elizabeth Allen.
