Feb 9, 2008 - Red-hot Amy Adams may be adding another high profile project to her resume. Adams is close to signing on to star in Night at the Museum 2 with Ben Stiller.
If the deal goes through, Adams would play Stiller's love interest in the sequel to the 2006 box office hit which grossed more than $570 million worldwide. Shawn Levy is returning to helm the sequel with Night at the Museum screenwriters Ben Garant and Thomas Lennon also back onboard.
20th Century Fox is eyeing a May 2009 release date.
Amy Adams showed off her vocal skills in Disney's Enchanted and played the personal assistant to a Texas congressman in Charlie Wilson's War. She'll next be seen in the independent film Sunshine Cleaning which debuted at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival.
