Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner became the proud parents of a baby girl on December 1, 2005. The married couple's daughter arrived at 6:26pm EST and Garner and Affleck's publicists confirmed both mother and daughter are doing fine.This is the first child for both Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck who were married in a private ceremony on June 29, 2005. The two met while working on "Daredevil" in 2003 but didn't start dating until late 2004.
Garner's pregnancy was written into the storyline of her TV series "Alias," which will finish its run at the end of this season. Garner has film projects lined up that'll fill up her time - what time she has available now that she's a new mom - after "Alias" wraps production.
Affleck will next be seen in "Truth, Justice and the American Way," "Smokin' Aces," and "Man About Town." Affleck will be going behind the camera to produce and direct "Gone, Baby, Gone," from a screenplay he adapted from the Dennis Lehane novel.
