Catching up with Courtney Peldon and her sister, actress Ashley Peldon, at the World Premiere of "A Cinderella Story," the two provided a brief preview of what to expect from the new HBO series.
INTERVIEW WITH COURTNEY AND ASHLEY PELDON:A
What's happening with "Entourage?"
COURTNEY PELDON: "Entourage" is coming out July 18th, Sunday night, "Sex and the Citys" time slot. Were very excited. Its going to be really fun.
Will it be similar to the tone of "Sex and the City?"
COURTNEY PELDON: It is in a sense, but this centers around five guys so I think its going to take "Sex and the City" and make it from the guys perspective. I dont know if HBO has really had something thats kind of young and hip and cool, but also is very realistic as far as relationships and life and all that stuff goes.
ASHLEY PELDON: And the city has been transplanted to LA in this one. It takes place in the LA club district and all the fun going on around here.
Youve already shot a few episodes, correct?
COURTNEY PELDON: Yeah, the first eight episodes are done. Were going to see what happens after it comes out.
"Entourage" stars Adrian Grenier. What's he like to work with?
Hes incredibly sexy. Really sharp, really professional, always came to the set ready to work. He was great.
How much input does producer Mark Wahlberg have?
Hes like a kid. Hes like one of us. Hes really fun. He does throw stuff out there, but mostly he just wants to get into it with everybody. We had this pool scene and he just jumped into the pool with all of us and took off his shirt, was splashing everybody. He totally got into it. It was like a really, really late night shoot. It was 3 in the morning and he wanted to get all of our energies way up so he just jumped right in there and had a lot of fun.
