2010 MTV Movie Awards Nominees and Winners

June 6, 2010 - A video of Tom Cruise in full-on Hollywood producer Les Grossman mode kicked off the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, with Grossman promising he was going to kick the show up a notch or two. And Cruise/Grossman delivered, with host Aziz Ansari (from Park and Recreation) keeping things moving along and Sandra Bullock, winner of the MTV Generation Award, stealing the show by delivering an incredible speech and locking lips with Scarlett Johansson (Bullock was nominated in the Best Kiss category along with Johansson's hubby, Ryan Reynolds, for The Proposal). Honorable mention goes to Ed Helms dressed as a cloud and Ken Jeong in a tiger leotard performing to 'Stu's Song' from The Hangover before being interrupted by Cruise as Grossman performing a hip hop dance number with Jennifer Lopez. Bizarre, yet effective.

And it was no surprise that The Twilight Saga: New Moon ended up the night's big winner - and the stars wound up being the butt of the most jokes. Fans voted online for their favorites and there's just not any group of fans out there that can outvote/outlast Twilight fans when it comes to showing support. New Moon picked up five golden popcorn statues including Best Movie, Best Male Performance (Robert Pattinson), and Best Female Performance (Kristen Stewart).
