The Hurt Locker continues on its award-winning way as the Los Angeles Film Critics Association (LAFCA) joins the chorus in voting the timely drama best film of 2009. District 9, the sleeper hit of the summer, also earned two of the group's awards, picking up wins in the New Generation and Production Design categories.
