McFarlane Toys has signed a licensing agreement with Intermedia Film Distribution Ltd., to release action figures based on this summer's blockbuster film "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines." McFarlane Toys will be releasing collectible action figures in conjunction with the domestic movie release on July 2, 2003 by Warner Bros. Pictures, an AOL Time Warner Company. These figures include:

T-850 With Coffin: This figure is the new Arnold Schwarzenegger character in "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines," re-creating a scene from the film.
T-850 With Weapons: This version of the Arnold Schwarzenegger character features several weapons, including rifle and grenade launcher.
T-X Terminatrix: The new enemy in the movie, played by actress Kristanna Loken.
T-X Terminatrix Endoskeleton: Endoskeleton version of the new enemy.
Terminator 3 12-inch Figure With Sound: T-850 figure in 12-inch scale with various weapons and a sound clip from the film.
Terminator 3 Boxed Set: T-850/T-X: Unbelievably detailed deluxe boxed edition features a battle-damaged T-850 and a T-X Endoskeleton figure re-creating a battle scene from the movie.

The release of "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" marks the return of one of the most popular blockbuster brands in entertainment history. To date, "Terminator" and "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" have a combined international box office gross of $550 million. "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" DVD/video sales are also past the $200 million mark.

Arnold Schwarzenegger reprises his signature role as the Terminator, heading a cast that includes Nick Stahl ("In the Bedroom," "The Thin Red Line"), Kristanna Loken ("Panic") and Claire Danes ("William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet," "The Hours"). Renowned character creator and original Terminator designer Stan Winston returns to supervise the film's animatronic and make-up effects, and ILM will once again produce the visual effects.

Grammy- and Emmy-winning Producer/Director Todd McFarlane, best known as the creator of "Spawn" and the founder of spawn.com, is the creative force behind McFarlane Toys. The international award winning company is one of America's top action figure manufacturers with several successful movie-licensing tie-ins, including Warner Brother's "The Matrix" trilogy, "Shrek"; "X-Files"; "Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow"; the first two "Austin Powers" films; the Beatle's "Yellow Submarine"; "Akira" and the company's seminal Movie Maniacs series featuring horror icons from such films as "Terminator" and "Terminator 2," "Alien," "Predator," "Texas Chainsaw Massacre;" "Friday the 13th;" "The Thing;" "Army of Darkness;" "The Fly;" "Blair Witch;" "Scream;" "A Nightmare on Elm Street;" "Halloween" and more. The company also makes official league-licensed figures for baseball, football, basketball and hockey under its Sports Picks(TM) line, as well as rock music icons, electronic gaming and McFarlane's signature creation, "Spawn."
