McFarlane Toys Brings "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" to Stores |

McFarlane Toys has signed a licensing agreement with Intermedia Film Distribution Ltd., to release action figures based on this summer's blockbuster film "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines." McFarlane Toys will be releasing collectible action figures in conjunction with the domestic movie release on July 2, 2003 by Warner Bros. Pictures, an AOL Time Warner Company. These figures include:
The release of "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" marks the return of one of the most popular blockbuster brands in entertainment history. To date, "Terminator" and "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" have a combined international box office gross of $550 million. "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" DVD/video sales are also past the $200 million mark.
Arnold Schwarzenegger reprises his signature role as the Terminator, heading a cast that includes Nick Stahl ("In the Bedroom," "The Thin Red Line"), Kristanna Loken ("Panic") and Claire Danes ("William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet," "The Hours"). Renowned character creator and original Terminator designer Stan Winston returns to supervise the film's animatronic and make-up effects, and ILM will once again produce the visual effects.
