Guide Rating -
Pros • Cute movie with equally cute DVD features
• "Legally Blonde" is good, clean entertainment

"Legally Blonde" Special Edition DVD Review/Recommendation
Reese Witherspoon shines in this very cute and very entertaining tale of blonde ambition. "Legally Blonde" works to set the record straight - blondes do have intelligence, and there's much more to them than just their hair color. In "Legally Blonde," Reese's character Elle gets dumped by her boyfriend for not being "serious" enough to suit his career plans. Elle sets out to prove that she can compete with brunettes in the serious girlfriend category as she follows her ex to Harvard Law School.

MGM's release of "Legally Blonde" on DVD includes deleted scenes, commentary from the cast and crew, and two entertaining, though mostly fluffy, featurettes. Totally in keeping with the film's light comedy, the DVD is good clean fun for the entire family.
