"Kate and Leopold" DVD Review/Recommendation
"Kate and Leopold" is an irresistible romantic comedy about two strangers in New York, separated by 100 years. Meg Ryan stars as Kate McCay, a modern-day advertising executive. Hugh Jackman co-stars as the third Duke of Albany, a handsome, charming bachelor living in the late 1800s. The two are brought together when Kate's ex-boyfriend (played by Liev Schreiber) discovers a rip in time and accidentally brings Leopold into present day New York.
Coming from totally different worlds and holding diametrically opposed views on life, what starts off as an antagonistic relationship soon blooms into full-fledged love.
