In exchange for Alvin's automotive expertise and her needed car parts, Paris agrees to let people believe that they are dating for two weeks. Alvin's dream is realized when his association with Paris leads him to heights of popularity unimagined as the school's new cool kid. Unfortunately, Alvin loses himself in his newfound popularity and runs the risk of losing his real friends, his chance for a scholarship, and a shot at a real relationship with the girl of his dreams.
