Ben Affleck, Superhero. That title doesn't readily spring to mind when mentally picturing Affleck's past roles. However as The Man Without Fear, Affleck battles baddies, kicking, punching and utilizing moves you'd never expect Affleck to possess.

Accompanied by his fiancee Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck was in good spirits at the "Daredevil" Premiere. It was difficult to hear his answers as the screaming fans, who were lined up 4 and 5 deep across the street from the red carpet event, never once let up with their cheers.

Here's a few answers that I managed to catch over the screams of fanatical "Daredevil" fans:

BEN AFFLECK ('Matt Murdock/Daredevil')

Was there ever a time you accidentally made eye contact during filming?
No, because I had these contact lenses in that were opaque, so I couldn't see through them.

How hard was this role on you physically?
The physical aspect of it was really, really challenging and difficult - [especially] the martial arts. I'm in the best shape of my life right now. I wouldn't have done all the exercises if I wasn't in this movie.

Is your wedding on the 14th?
Yes, you got us (laughing)! It's going to be here on the 14th.

Would you wear the costume around the house?
No, I just fight crime in it (laughing). If there's a purse snatching in the neighborhood, then I will go throw the costume on. Last time I did that though, by the time I had the thing all put on and zipped up, I got there and they just gave me funny looks.

How many times has Kevin Smith asked to borrow the costume?
He wants to come over, have me wear it, and rub oil on me (laughing).

The Academy Award-nominated actor plays the role of Kingpin, a character Michael Clarke Duncan dreamed of playing and one that physically fits him like a glove. Duncan's true personality is the opposite of his "Daredevil" character's; his off-screen demeanor being much closer to the cliched 'gentle giant' description than a comic book bad guy.

MICHAEL CLARKE DUNCAN ('Kingpin')

This character is a departure from your usual roles. Do you enjoy playing a baddie?
I love it because you get to go over-the-top. You get to be as mean as hell. You get to just whatever you want to do as a bad person, it's great.

How would you describe your onscreen cohort, Colin Farrell?
Colin Farrell is exactly what you see. What you see is what you get. I liken him to Dennis Rodman because Dennis Rodman was one of those types of guys who said anything that came to his mind but he went out there and performed. Colin Farrell says anything that comes to his mind but when the camera goes up, he's the greatest.
