Aug 2, 2004 - The soundtrack to director Michael Mann's action drama "Collateral" hits stores on August 3, 2004. Hip-0 Records is releasing the soundtrack CD in support of the feature film starring Tom Cruise, Jamie Foxx and Jada Pinkett Smith. Mann's film will hit theaters on August 6th.

"Collateral" Synopsis

"Collateral" stars Tom Cruise as Vincent, a contract killer hired by an offshore narcotrafficking cartel to stop a federal indictment against them by killing the five key witnesses against them ... tonight. Circumstances cause Vincent to hijack Max's taxicab, and Max (Jamie Foxx) becomes collateral -- an expendable person in the wrong place at the wrong time. Through the night Vincent forces Max to drive him to each assigned destination. And as the LAPD and FBI race to intercept them, Max and Vincent's survival becomes dependent on each other in ways neither would have imagined.
