Play Along, Inc., has signed a licensing agreement with Universal Studios Consumer Products Group for the master toy rights to create a toy line inspired by the upcoming Universal Pictures/DreamWorks Pictures/Imagine Entertainment release, "Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat." Starring Mike Myers in the title role, the highly-anticipated film adaptation of the literary classic from Academy Award(R) winning producer Brian Grazer and director Bo Welch, also stars Alec Baldwin, Kelly Preston, Dakota Fanning, Spencer Breslin, and Amy Hill and is scheduled for release on November 21, 2003. Play Along is unveiling its "Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat" feature toy collection at Toy Fair 2003, February 16 - February 19, 2003.

Play Along's "Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat" collection will feature a complete collection of plush, talking plush, collectible figures, classic and film-inspired action figures, playsets, vehicles, and electronic roleplay items based on the main characters including The Cat in the Hat, Thing 1, Thing 2, Fish, Nevins, Conrad, and Sally.
